The entire campus is surrounded by the native Kenshin fir trees that have been standing since the Japanese colonial era, forming an independent forest secret realm. Combining the local Shao language place name "Balan" with the spirit of the indigenous people to protect nature, coexisting with the beautiful ecological environment, it is named "Balan Hill Glamping".

▎In 2024, Balan Hill Glamping and Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Service have cooperated to create a carbon reduction journey. Travelers who take the high-speed rail to Taichung Station can enjoy the free Shuttle Service from Taichung High Speed Rail Station to Balan Hill Glamping. Every guest who chooses the carbon reduction program will receive a Sun Moon Lake bicycle tour ticket, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sun Moon Lake by gently pedaling the bicycle into the wind.
